Detailed Itinerary for our Luxury Gorilla Tracking Holiday Package

DAY 1: Arrival in Uganda
Arrive at Entebbe Airport and take airport shuttle to your five star luxury hotel in Kampala City.

DAY 2: Start of Luxury Gorilla Tracking Holiday in Kampala -Mgahinga
Leave Kampala in the morning and stop in Mbarara for Lunch. Continue to Kisoro town for overnight stay.

DAY 3: Gorilla or Golden Monkey Tracking
Head into the park’s forests to track the gorillas, alternatively, track through the bamboo forests in search of the rare golden monkeys as you pass through the spectacular vegetation and scenery.

DAY 4: Batwa culture trail:
The local guides are more than happy to take you through the 8km gentle trail in Mgahinga gorilla national park ,demonstrating the traditional ways of life, including hunting, gathering honey, fire making and fetching water. Enjoy the magnificent performance in the Garama cave spiritual and cultural site for the Batwa.

DAY 5: Return to Kampala
Return to Kampala, Stopping over at Lake Bunyonyi for lunch and beautiful views. Lake Bunyonyi is dotted with at least 20 small Islands and it is Africa’s second Deepest Lake with crystal clear waters. The lake is encircled with terraced hills and it is ideal for stop overs for lunch on the enroute.

Day 6: End of Luxury Gorilla Tracking Holiday Bujagali falls (optional)
Early Morning breakfast then head to Bujagali falls and to the source of River Nile in Uganda’s second largest city for an exhilarating white water rafting. In the afternoon return to Kampala for city tour and shopping. If you still have energy left, feel free to enjoy the city nightlife.
